We began in the goat business when our boys joined 4-H in 1999 by purchasing wethers from a nearby farm. Our interest in goats grew and we decided to expand our operation and try raising our own wethers. Since then, our operation has steadily grown. With a total of eight does, we decided to purchase our first buck last spring. We hope to produce wethers for our children and others needing to acquire animals to show.

Our goal is to improve our genetics with each generation, and we have now begun producing full South African kids as well as percentage bloodlines. Many of our kids now carry several ennobled bloodlines.

We have met many wonderful people who have unselfishly shared information and knowledge and we are ever so grateful.

We hope that other families can find the enjoyment and education that we have found in this species of livestock.
